Twelve years ago, because of a desire to reach into the penetrating issues that women bare, Women of the Harvest began to hosts an annual Women’s Retreat in Gatlingburg, Tennessee. The retreat has evolved into a weekend of ministering, healing, sharing testimony and fellowship among women from a variety of different backgrounds. Each year women are introduced to freshly, anointed renowned speakers who deliver a kairos word that empowers and challenges women to go higher in their personal walk with God.
The retreats are held in the mountains of Tennessee, which become a canvas of forest and skies providing your eyes, ears and lungs with the freshness of nature’s luminosity. The retreats meet your mental needs by providing you the quietness and serenity of your villa or cabin. If you prefer, you are also offered the mindless challenges of laughter or engaging conversations with others that want the same mental relief from the daily grind. There are shopping adventures, sightseeing and even awesome dining opportunities to help alleviate the stresses of every day mental challenges.
Being a part of the Women’s Ministry Retreat becomes a chance for women to get away to the majestic mountains, far away from the distractions and responsibilities of home and city life .
